„Death by Domestication“ is a series of self staged portraits where I explore my personal reality about the roles of the women in the

society.

Those photographs inspired by film tend to be colorful documentation of my life. The red color in this series has a double meaning: it relates to blood, that represents femininity and evoke horror scenery, that could also be seen in Kubrick's movies. That space shown in series seems to be like a fancy dolls house, where first impression create all sugary colors, altogether with kitschy housewives apron, red nail polish, but when you look closer: you could see personal drama in an claustrophobic space. I'm am trying to be uncompromising with myself; when I'm peeling the beetroots in a bathroom I am trying to find my own expression, to break through stereotypes... To find "a room of my own".
